I’ve got back the other day from Guelph Faery Fest and it was an absolute blast! Excellent layout and people and is an event that I would recommend for anyone! I will definitely be back next year! Bloops were a complete hit and a good number of them were taken to good homes to be squished and loved to bits, Boxed Monster Paintings got love and my first time making horns was a complete success! It was really great to hear all the positive response to everything I brought and all the smiles that left the tent. Next year I plan to bring my glass etching work with me along with more Bloops and other new ideas I have in store.
I’ll be uploading some photos of the booth along with getting my stock up and running through Bigcartel and Etsy! Magic Bean Creations online store is coming!
Right now the plan is to hop into my glass etching and get the room back into working order so that I can get even more things made.
I along with my good friend Jenny of Xenotropos.com will be sharing an outdoor booth at this year’s Guelph Faery Fest! We’ll be under the “Weird Sisters” title with my side being under the Little Bean Creations heading selling handmade jewelry, paintings, plushies and clay pieces among other things!
Its an outdoor event June 20th and 21st! For more information check out their official website FaeryFest.com that should be updated soon with new vendors for this year (including myself and my fellow booth share-er) as well as those from last year who will be there this year!
Coming up: art updates along with jewelry, sculpture and more!
There is a great interview at Newsarama with Steven L. Frank all about the March of Dimes card series! Give it a look here!
Now that it has been officially announced, I can officially announce it here! I am now a 2009 Archie Comics Sketch Card Series Artist!
Archie Comics is joining March of Dimes to release a special sketch card series where the proceeds of the sales go to March of Dimes. This is the first officially licensed Archie Comics trading card product in 13 years and not only that, they are all sketch cards by fantastic artists.
I’m very excited to be a part of this and its excellent cause!
For a list of all the 2009 Archie Comics Sketch Card Series Artists and any news about the series can be found at Sketch Cards for March of Dimes
I’ve been quite busy as of late getting things prepared for future plans, but soon it also means a very large update including news! And gallery photos!
